Make sure you have ample time before starting. If you take your time the process will be easier & your finished product will look nicer.

1. Clean your wall or surface

Be sure that the surface you are applying the My New Room Removable Wall Art to is: smooth, dry and free of dust and dirt. My New Room Removable Wall Art can be applied to walls, wood, glass, concrete, metal or any smooth, dry surface. My New Room Removable Wall Art is removable but may not be repositioned or reused. Do not apply to freshly painted walls! Wait a minimum of 2 weeks after painting.

2. Preparing your My New Room Removable Wall Art

Lay your My New Room Removable Wall Art on a flat surface, graphic side up. If you notice any air bubbles between the decal and clear transfer tape remove them by rubbing on just the vinyl graphic portion of the decal with your fingers to reapply the vinyl to the transfer tape.

Once you have removed all the bubbles your decal may not lay flat, to make your decal lay flat carefully lift the transfer tape and vinyl decal away from the paper backing, make sure that the vinyl decal is sticking to the transfer tape. If the decal is not sticking lower the transfer tape back over the part of vinyl that is not sticking and rub the vinyl again with you finger.

DO NOT completely remove the transfer tape from the paper, only do one half of the decal at a time. Once you have removed all the air bubbles and your vinyl is laying as flat as you can get it, then press firmly over the entire decal with the edge of a credit card or similar object.

You are re-activating the bond between the decal and transfer tape. If any air bubbles were not removed you can put a crease the vinyl decal where the air bubble is.

3. Plan your layout

Arrange your My New Room Removable Wall Art on your surface using masking tape (on the top edge only)

DO NOT remove the white backing paper until you are happy with your layout.

4. Apply your My New Room Removable Wall Art

This is the part where you’ll want to take your time and you may need some help. Flip the decal up and starting from any corner, slowly peel the white or blue backing paper away from the transfer tape, the vinyl decal should be sticking to the tape. If some of the decal remains stuck to the backing paper, STOP.

Rub the decal in that area and slowly continue peeling until the backing paper is completely removed.

For larger decals you may want to remove the backing paper in two or three smaller sections. As you lower your My New Room Removable Wall Art against the surface carefully rub with your hand slowly across the decal, starting at the top center and working your way out to the edges and bottom of the decal. Once you have removed all the bubbles you can by hand use your credit card or similar object to finish the application by rubbing over the entire graphic to remove any air bubbles.

Once the air bubbles have been removed carefully pull off the transfer tape making sure that the decal is sticking to your surface and not the transfer tape.

5. To remove your My New Room Removable Wall Art

You can simply (slowly) peel it off your surface or if the decal is having some problems you can use a hair dryer to heat up the adhesive to allow the decal to come of your surface easier.
